An internship at Baylor Klein is a unique opportunity as I found out for myself over the summer of 2014. The exposure interns receive is incredibly high and during my time with Baylor Klein I produced work that was presented directly to the top management of global companies, spoke regularly with the Managing Director and Director of Baylor Klein as well as attended meetings with the owners of multi-million pound businesses. There is a real emphasis on teamwork and a very positive atmosphere in the office. I looked forward to going into work every day during my time at Baylor Klein.

I have worked as an intern with Baylor Klein since spring 2013. There is a great variety in the work I do and a lot of responsibility is given during the internship. I have been directly involved in the process of identifying and liaising with a potential acquirer, the production of pitch book, meetings with clients etc. This kind of high level exposure and opportunity right from the start of the internship is offered nowhere else. Baylor Klein also cares a lot about its interns and offers great flexibility to accommodate for pressure from academic work. Most importantly, I want say that it is great fun working with the team and I have made friends with all of the great people at Baylor Klein.

Baylor Klein offered me an unrivalled opportunity to gain experience in financial advisory services. As a leader in the sector, Baylor Klein is constantly working on a number of high-profile deals. During this intense placement, I was able to quickly progress my knowledge of the Household, Personal and Beauty Care sectors, as well as gain insight into both the sell and buy-side deal processes. I would recommend the experience to anyone who is wishing to gain hands-on commercial experience.
